Abstract

This Classroom Action Research (CAR) aims to explore the use of interactive technology in IPAS (Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial) education to enhance students' interest and understanding of science and social studies at MI Miftahul Huda I. The research involves 25 students in the fifth grade. The main objective of this study is to examine how the integration of technology, such as educational apps, videos, and interactive online tools, can increase students' engagement and deepen their comprehension of scientific and social concepts. Data was collected through classroom observations, pre-and post-tests, and student surveys. The findings indicate that the use of technology significantly improved students' interest in IPAS lessons, as they found the lessons more interactive and enjoyable. Additionally, students demonstrated better understanding and retention of the material when exposed to multimedia and interactive resources. This study concludes that incorporating technology into IPAS education can effectively improve students' motivation and academic performance in science and social studies. The findings suggest that technology should be more widely used in classrooms to foster a more dynamic and engaging learning environment.
