Abstract
This research investigates the implementation of Problem-Based Learning (PBL) to improve students' understanding of business ethics from an Islamic perspective at SMK Negeri 2 Tanah Putih. The study aims to explore how PBL can enhance students' ability to understand and apply ethical principles in business practices in line with Islamic teachings. The research was conducted with a group of vocational students, focusing on real-life business cases that incorporate Islamic ethical values. The students were encouraged to solve problems related to business ethics through collaborative discussions and critical thinking. The results show a significant improvement in students' understanding of key Islamic business ethics, such as honesty, fairness, and the prohibition of exploitation. Additionally, students demonstrated enhanced problem-solving and decision-making skills, as they were able to relate theoretical knowledge to practical situations. This research highlights the effectiveness of PBL in engaging students actively in learning, allowing them to develop a deeper understanding of Islamic business ethics and its application in the modern business world.
