Abstract





This study explores the utilization of the mobile application "Quranic Learning" to improve Quran comprehension among middle school students at SMP Negeri 1 Lubuk Dalam. The primary aim of the research is to assess the effectiveness of the mobile application in enhancing students' understanding of the Quranic text, its meanings, and its application in daily life. The research employs a mixed-method approach, including pre- and post-test evaluations, as well as student and teacher interviews. The results indicate that students who used the Quranic Learning app demonstrated significant improvement in their Quran comprehension, particularly in understanding the meanings of verses and their practical applications. Additionally, students reported a higher level of engagement and interest in learning the Quran compared to traditional methods. Teachers also observed that the mobile app facilitated more interactive and personalized learning experiences. The study highlights the potential of mobile technology as a tool to support Quranic education in schools, providing students with the opportunity to learn at their own pace and in an engaging way. This research suggests that integrating mobile applications like Quranic Learning can be an effective strategy to enhance Quran comprehension in Islamic education.
