Abstract
This research aims to apply the Jigsaw cooperative learning model to improve the learning outcomes of Indonesian language students in Class II at MIN 2 Samarinda. The Jigsaw method, which encourages cooperative interaction among students, involves dividing the material into parts that each student learns individually and then shares with their group. This method promotes active participation, teamwork, and a deeper understanding of the subject matter. The research was conducted with 15 students in Class II at MIN 2 Samarinda. The approach used was Classroom Action Research (CAR), consisting of two cycles with planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data were collected through pre-test and post-test scores, as well as observation sheets to monitor student engagement and participation during the learning process. The results showed that the Jigsaw cooperative learning model significantly improved students' learning outcomes in Indonesian language. Students demonstrated better comprehension of the material, increased collaboration, and more active participation in class activities. This study concludes that the Jigsaw model is an effective strategy for enhancing students' learning outcomes in Indonesian language lessons at MIN 2 Samarinda.
