This study explores the use of audiovisual media to enhance students' interest and narrative writing skills in Bahasa Indonesia for third-grade students at MIN 10 Aceh Besar. Audiovisual media, such as videos and animations, are integrated into the teaching process to make learning more engaging and interactive. The research aims to examine how these media can motivate students to write creatively and improve their writing abilities. Data were collected through classroom observations, student writing assessments, and interviews with both teachers and students. The results indicate that the use of audiovisual media significantly increased students' interest in learning Bahasa Indonesia and enhanced their ability to write narratives. Students reported that the visual stimuli helped them to better understand story elements and organize their thoughts. Teachers observed that students became more engaged in the writing process, showing greater enthusiasm and creativity. This study suggests that incorporating audiovisual media into Bahasa Indonesia lessons can be an effective strategy to foster students' writing skills and increase their motivation to write. The findings highlight the importance of integrating modern media to create more dynamic and student-centered learning environments.
