Abstract
This Classroom Action Research (CAR) aims to improve the understanding of Fiqh among sixth-grade students at MI Unwaanunnajah Kel. Pondok Pucung through the implementation of group discussion methods. Conducted in two cycles consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection phases, the study emphasizes enhancing students' comprehension of Fiqh topics through interactive and collaborative learning. Data were collected through classroom observations, assessments such as quizzes and written assignments, and feedback from both students and teachers. The results revealed that group discussions significantly increased student engagement, critical thinking, and comprehension of Fiqh concepts. Students exhibited improved retention of key material and demonstrated greater confidence in applying their knowledge to practical situations. The group discussion approach fostered peer-to-peer learning, allowing students to address uncertainties and strengthen their understanding. This research underscores the effectiveness of interactive learning strategies in religious education and suggests that similar methods can be beneficial across various subjects to promote active participation and deeper understanding.
