Abstract
In the learning process, one crucial component is the teaching method, which plays a role in determining the effectiveness of material absorption by students. Research at SD IT ATTIN found that Islamic Religious Education (PAI) material was delivered using relatively conventional methods. As a result, some students tended to absorb the material monotonously and boringly. This study aims to describe the application of active learning methods at SD IT ATTIN. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with primary data collection through interviews and observations, while secondary data is obtained through documentation. The research results show that the implementation of active learning methods at SD IT ATTIN has not been optimally successful. This is evident from observations and interviews with Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers at the school. Factors influencing the implementation of this method are divided into two categories. Based on these findings, active learning methods need to be further improved so that all students can be actively involved in the learning process and improve the quality of their learning outcomes.
