Abstract

This research aims to explore an effective Islamic Education (PAI) learning strategy to enhance students' worship skills at SDIT Al Fikri Painan. This study employs the Classroom Action Research (CAR) model, focusing on improving the quality of learning in PAI subjects. The research was conducted in two cycles, each consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. The participants were fifth-grade students, and data were collected through tests, observations, and interviews. The findings show that the use of active learning strategies, such as group discussions, role-playing, and hands-on practice, significantly improved students' worship skills, including their understanding of prayer and other religious rituals. The implementation of these strategies encouraged student engagement and fostered a deeper understanding of PAI concepts. Moreover, the students demonstrated a higher level of self-confidence and improved their practical skills in performing worship rituals. This study concludes that employing interactive and participatory strategies in PAI learning can effectively enhance students' worship skills and overall religious comprehension.
