Abstract
This research aims to investigate the effectiveness of using Islamic Education (PAI) learning strategies to enhance students' social awareness at UPT SDN 16 Bukit Siayah. The study employs the Classroom Action Research (CAR) model, which involves a cyclical process of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The research was conducted over two cycles, each focusing on implementing specific strategies in PAI lessons designed to foster social responsibility and empathy among students. The participants of this study were fifth-grade students. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and social awareness questionnaires. The findings indicate that the use of collaborative learning strategies, such as group discussions, community service projects, and role-playing, significantly increased students' social awareness. The activities encouraged students to reflect on societal issues, develop empathy, and understand their role in the community. The study concludes that effective PAI strategies can positively influence students' social awareness, making them more responsible and engaged in their social environment.
