Abstract

This Classroom Action Research (CAR) aims to explore the use of visual media in teaching Hadith to enhance student learning motivation at UPT SDN 16 Teluk Kasai. The study investigates how integrating visual aids, such as images, infographics, and videos, can create an engaging and interactive learning environment for students. The research is conducted in two cycles, each consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The application of visual media is expected to help simplify complex Hadith texts and make the material more relatable and understandable for students. Data is collected through observations, student surveys, and interviews to assess the impact of visual media on students' interest in learning Hadith. The findings indicate that the use of visual media significantly boosts students' engagement and enthusiasm in learning Hadith. Students were more eager to participate, ask questions, and discuss the content, which led to better retention and understanding of the material. This research concludes that visual media is an effective tool for increasing student motivation and improving the learning experience in religious education, particularly in the study of Hadith.
