Abstract
This Classroom Action Research (CAR) was conducted to improve students' understanding and participation in learning Thaharah (purification) in the subject of Fiqh at MA Lubbul Labib through the use of interactive video media. The study was carried out in two cycles following the stages of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Interactive videos were integrated into classroom activities to provide visual and auditory stimulation, making abstract concepts in Thaharah more concrete and easier to understand. Data were collected through observation sheets, learning achievement tests, and student response questionnaires. The results showed significant improvement in students’ participation during class, as well as their comprehension of Thaharah concepts, including types of impurities, ablution (wudhu), and bathing (ghusl). Students were more engaged and motivated to participate in discussions and practical demonstrations. Teachers also reported a more effective teaching experience and better classroom interaction. The findings indicate that using interactive video media is an effective strategy for enhancing both cognitive and affective aspects of learning in Islamic religious education. It helps bridge the gap between theory and practice, especially in subjects that require a high level of visualization and student engagement.
