Abstract
This Classroom Action Research (CAR) was conducted to improve students’ arithmetic skills and interest in learning Mathematics through the implementation of Android-based educational games at MIS Muhammadiyah 09 Sekaran. The research was carried out in two cycles, each comprising planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The games were designed to reinforce basic arithmetic operations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Data were collected using observation sheets, learning achievement tests, and student interest questionnaires. The results indicated a significant improvement in students’ motivation and learning outcomes. Students became more enthusiastic, engaged, and confident when solving arithmetic problems. Their average test scores increased in each cycle, and classroom participation rose notably. The integration of educational games created a fun and interactive learning environment, reducing students' anxiety toward Mathematics. Teachers also noted smoother classroom management and improved student focus. This study concludes that Android-based educational games are an effective and innovative learning medium for enhancing both arithmetic proficiency and students’ interest in Mathematics, especially in primary school settings. It is recommended that similar digital tools be integrated regularly into mathematics instruction to support engaging, student-centered learning.
