Abstract
This Classroom Action Research (CAR) was conducted to improve students’ understanding and participation in the subject of Fiqh, specifically the topic of Hajj, through the use of interactive video media at MAN 2 Bone, South Sulawesi. The research was carried out in two cycles following the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Interactive videos illustrating the rituals and procedures of Hajj were used to make the learning experience more visual and engaging. Data were collected through observations, learning outcome tests, and student questionnaires. The results showed significant improvement in both students' comprehension and classroom involvement. Students demonstrated better understanding of the steps and conditions of Hajj, and actively participated in discussions and learning activities. The visual representation of Hajj rituals helped bridge the gap between theory and practice, making abstract concepts more concrete. Teachers also found the media effective in creating a more dynamic and focused classroom atmosphere. This study concludes that the use of interactive video media is a highly effective instructional strategy for enhancing both cognitive and affective domains in Islamic education, particularly in teaching complex ritual-based topics such as Hajj.
