Abstract
This study aims to improve mathematics learning outcomes of sixthgrade students at MI Arrosyidin Payaman, Secang District, Magelang
Regency through the implementation of the Jigsaw cooperative
learning method. The research involved 15 students, focusing on the
topic of fractional operations in problem-solving, particularly in
comparison and scale. The study was conducted in two cycles, each
consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The results
showed a significant improvement in learning outcomes. The
average class score increased from 62.35 in the initial condition to
74.86 at the end of Cycle II. The percentage of students meeting the
minimum passing grade rose from 20% to 80%. The Jigsaw method
was proven effective in enhancing mathematical concept
comprehension, student collaboration, and active participation in
learning.
