Abstract
This classroom action research aims to enhance early childhood students’
understanding of the procedures for Wudu and Salat through the
implementation of the role play method using hand puppet media at RA
Uswatun Hasanah. The study was motivated by the observation that young
children often find it difficult to learn religious rituals through traditional
teaching methods. The role play method, combined with hand puppets,
offers an interactive and engaging way for children to learn these essential
Islamic practices. The research was conducted in two cycles, including
planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. The findings revealed
that using hand puppets in role play significantly improved students'
ability to correctly demonstrate Wudu and Salat procedures. The children
were more engaged and actively participated in learning, making it easier
for them to retain the steps involved in these rituals. The study concluded
