Abstract

This classroom action research aims to improve Grade V students'
understanding of Prophet Muhammad's history and Akhlak through the
implementation of an interactive mobile application-based learning
method at SD Negeri 003 Tandun. The study was motivated by the
challenge of making the subject more engaging and accessible for
students, as traditional teaching methods often fail to capture their interest.
The research was conducted in two cycles, each consisting of planning,
action, observation, and reflection. The mobile application integrated
educational games, multimedia elements (such as videos, audio, and
quizzes), and interactive features to present Prophet's history and moral
lessons in a more dynamic and interactive way. The results indicated a
significant increase in students’ engagement, understanding, and retention
of the material. Students became more enthusiastic in learning about the
Prophet’s life and Akhlak, with improved participation in class
discussions and activities. The study concluded that the use of an
interactive mobile application-based learning method is an effective way
to enhance students' understanding and application of moral values,
making learning more enjoyable, accessible, and relevant to their
everyday lives.
